Refunds & Returns

We want you to love your Stator Bike. If something isn't right, our 15-Day Return Guarantee gives you the protection you need, backed by Australian Consumer Law.

 

💬 How to Start a Return

Email us at hello@statorbikes.com.au within 15 days of receiving your order. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or video where relevant. Our team will assess your request and guide you through the process.

 

When Our 15-Day Guarantee Applies

You are eligible for a return or refund under our 15-Day Guarantee when:

•     The product is in its original, unused condition and original packaging

•     The product received significantly differs from what was described or ordered

•     A major manufacturing fault, defect, or failure is present

•     Helmets or apparel that do not fit correctly (in original, unworn condition)

•     The request is made by the original purchaser with valid proof of purchase

 

When Our Guarantee Does Not Apply

Returns and refunds will not be accepted in the following situations:

•     Change of mind or personal preference

•     Products damaged by misuse, accidents, or neglect (where not a manufacturer fault)

•     Products not in their original unused condition or original packaging

•     Damage from external factors such as acts of God, natural disasters, or weather events

•     Requests received more than 15 days after the order date

•     Issues unrelated to the product's quality or performance

 

Minor vs Major Faults

Minor Faults

For minor manufacturing faults — such as a chain requiring lubrication, a gear needing minor adjustment, or a small cosmetic imperfection — we will not offer a refund. Instead, we will promptly repair or replace the affected component at no cost to you.

Major Faults

For major faults — where a manufacturing defect has caused serious damage to multiple components, renders the bike unsafe or non-functional, or cannot be repaired by reasonable means — you are entitled to a full refund or replacement.

 

Return Shipping

Once your return is approved, we will provide you with the correct return address and advise whether return shipping costs are covered. Please note:

•     Items must be securely packaged for freight — we can assist with courier collection if needed

•     Replacement items will not be dispatched until the original returned product is received and inspected

•     For high-value returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing freight insurance

•     Stator Bikes cannot be held responsible for returned items lost or damaged in transit

 

Partial Refunds

In certain circumstances, we may issue a partial refund rather than a full refund. This may apply when:

•     Items are returned in a condition that is not 'as new' (not due to a manufacturer fault)

•     Requests are received after 30 days from the original order date

•     The issue relates to factors outside the product itself

 

Exchanges

We offer exchanges only for items that are defective or damaged beyond reasonable repair. We do not offer exchanges for change-of-mind purchases.
